We have completed our first full week running on the Microsoft Azure cloud. The change brings more stability, better scaling, and improved security. We know that security is an important issue to our customers. Aside from the additional security benefits, Incident Tracker will also benefit from seamless scaling. Azure permits resources to be scaled up as needed, so as users are added so are server resources. Incident Tracker will also benefit by being served from a world class cloud environment. This environment is monitored 24/7/365 and is constantly upgraded, patched and maintained.
The Incident Tracker team is happy to be able to provide this better service, but we haven’t stopped there. We’ve also added a European Data center for the first time. This new center is not just a backup service, but rather an additional live Data center. Now customers have the option of being hosted in the United States or the UK.
We feel we have entered a new era here, where our developers can focus more on developing the product and less on infrastructure and maintenance. Soon we will be releasing a new support center. Also, the long awaited mobile app is going through revision testing as we speak. The future looks bright and we are happy that you are part of it, here is to a terrific 2016 for Incident Tracker.
